I bought these hubs becasue they were the least costly ones I could find. I got over I bargained for in thes hubs. I installed them on my '92 F-350 Crew Cab. It took about ten minutes per side to pull off the elderly factory automatic hubs and install the new ones. It was a simple job with only a torx driver and a regular pair of pliers. The elderly automatic hubs were junk, they didn't work well and the covers that broke were not replaceable and plastic. The new ones are all metal where superwinch hub counts.

I have no regrets in purchasing these hubs and would not hesitate to buy another pair for my next van.

I installed the hubs and then drove to Montana and in to winter. The hubs were used extensively being locked and unlocked one time or one time a day for days. No issues. I am not planning on using them for heavy duty off road driving but for heading in to the back country on and off the road in a foot of snow, these worked well.
